I'm in possession of a fundamentalist self-help book called The First Date that's all about that--you're not even supposed to go on a date, you just pray and then God sends a person and you marry the shit out of him. Or your dad picks someone. In the book, one of the dudes who followed this True Way ended up marrying his foster sister. Kind of hot, now that I think about it. The anti-kissing people! I'm in possession of a fundamentalist self-help book called The First Date that's all about that–you're not even supposed to go on a date, you just pray and then God sends a person and you marry the shit out of him. I honestly hadn't even realized that there was anti-kissing rhetoric among some groups of Christians until I saw the trailer for <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXXbZ-Ez_AA" rel="nofollow">this movie</a> a few weeks ago. Since I'm a pretty Jewwy non-believer, it was like a whole new (slightly strange) world was opening up to me. A world without kissing until marriage! Oh Jaimie, kissing is so much fun!
