Still editing, as you can see–typing my comments in at this point. Apparently I didn’t much like this paragraph. I started to copyedit it, then circled it and wrote “UGH” over the text.

I had an entire page in my printed-out edits that I wrote words like "vomit" and "death" and "horrible" all over it (I realllly hated it). I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who does this.
Oh, yes def! My notes are filled with frowny faces too. Sometimes, when editing, I feel like I've traveled through time and found a more ridiculous version of myself. But like, it was only a few weeks ago! Horrific.
I prefer to do my editing on the computer. My dad would freak out if he saw me using that much paper. Still, it's better than having to write everything down in a notebook and type it up later. That's so aggravating.
The typing it in is annoying, but reading on paper beats reading on a screen about a hundred times over for accuracy. Much easier to miss typos if you edit on a screen.
I actually just had my MS professionally printed at a staples. It was only like twenty bucks, not bad at all.
