Aw, gee. Nice! And a little disappointing. That’s two rejections down out of the chapbook contest stuff. Out of I-have-no-idea-how-many. I keep painstaking track of my normal submissions, but since this involved mailing stuff, my system was bonked.

I don’t really feel like I’m going to win any of these chapbook contests, is my suspicion. My MS could probably use a good post-MFA once-over. But these days, poetry feels like so much work.

Another nice rejection, this one from Goblin Fruit. These genre mags, I swear–they warm my little writer heart.

Claire, if you’re reading, you should submit to this one, too. They’re pretty much fantastic, and I think they’d love your stuff.
